There is Welfare for Mankind in the Sea

This universe was created by Allah. Everything in the world was intended to fulfill the wants of humans. To make the planet a more beautiful and fulfilling place to live. All of God’s blessings will be enjoyed by man, who will worship Him alone. He will use the blessings of this world to pursue the joys of eternal existence in the afterlife. One of the most magnificent of these marvels is the sea. The sea is a magnificent creation of Allah that provides inexhaustible benefits to human beings. One of the wonders of the great creator’s creation is the sea. The sea has always piqued people’s interest, dating back to the dawn of civilisation. People are always looking for and researching the sea.
The sea is indeed an inexhaustible source of wonder and diversity. As much as people know about the water, all the new and incredible information is uncovered as they conduct research. In study and discovery, man and humanity will benefit from the infinite benefits of the people of Allah, which they have kept hidden in the sea, gas and numerous mineral riches of the sea. This is why the welfare religion, Islam, was encouraged to think about the sea and explore it. As Allah says,
“Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you all that is on the surface of the earth and the ships that sail in the sea by His command, and He fixed the heavens so that they do not fall to the earth without His command. Surely Allah is Merciful, Compassionate to mankind.” (Surah Al-Hajj, verse 65)
Believing intellectuals and theologians have always said that traveling by water is an enormous advantage in knowing God’s identity. By diving into the center of the water, man might grasp the unparalleled creativity of Allah, the Great Creator. That is God’s command,
“Travel in the land and see how He originates the creation. Then God will create again. Surely Allah is Able to do all things.” (Surah Al-Ankabut, verse: 20)
Allah says:
“Surely there is good in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the evolution of night and day, and in the navigation of the ships on the river. And by the water which Allah sends down from the sky, He revives the dead earth and spreads out in it every living thing. And in the change of the weather and in the clouds which move between the heavens and the earth under His command, surely there are signs in this for a people who understand.” (Surah Al-Baqara: 164)
The benefit of eating sea fish is significantly larger than meat has long been stated by physicians and experts. Eating more seafood boosts heart and brain efficiency, which are the two major organs of our body. Indeed, seafood is a marvellous human health element. This is why medical scientists and doctors want more fish. More fish are also recommended for patients to eat.
The components in fish work in order to maintain the human heart functioning and secure, according to doctors and medical specialists. One of the reasons why fish components battle against the heart is the possibility of immobilization and malfunction. Darius Mozaffarian remarked that if you routinely eat reasonable fish, you will have a big decrease in the risk of heart disease. Thirty major studies in the world have demonstrated a 37% decreased average of cardiovascular risk in people who consume fish at least once or twice a week.
The Holy Quran also mentions marine fish in multiple contexts. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And He it is Who has made the sea subservient to you that you may eat therefrom (meat) and bring forth therein. Ornaments that you wear. And you will see therein ships floating in the water, so that you may seek of His bounty, and that you may be grateful. ” (Surah An-Nahl: 14)
In another verse, Allah says:
“And the two seas are not equal; One is very sweet and savory, the other is very salty and from each you eat fresh meat and get the ornaments you wear. And you see ships sailing through it. That you may seek of Allah’s bounty, and that you may be grateful.” (Surah Al-Fatir: 12)
In the two verses, Allah has described the fish of the sea as fresh meat. The benefits of fresh meat are endless. Fresh meat is indicative of the many benefits of the aforementioned marine fish. Various ornaments and furniture are made from the bones of big marine fish. Allah has also indicated this in the two verses. And pearls are found in various seaweeds and snails, which add to the beauty of precious ornaments. Moreover, Allah has prepared the sea and all its contents for the benefit of human beings. So he has legalized its prey and its meat eating. Allah says:
“The prey of the sea and its food are made lawful for you; For the enjoyment of you and the travelers.” (Surah Al-Ma’ida: 98)
The sanctity of the sea water, its hunting of animals and the eating of fish meat have been declared valid, so also in the holy Javan of the great Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu ‘Anhu said,
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “He is pure, he is dead, the solution is dead.”
A man asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, we go to sea.” We have as little water as we can. If we perform ablution with it, we will become thirsty. Shall we then perform ablution from the sea (with its water)? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Its (sea) water is pure and its dead are halal.
In the age of modern science, scientists have discovered through research that the waters of the two seas do not merge. For example, the waters of the Roman Sea and the Atlantic Ocean cannot coexist. There is a wonderful invisible barrier. However, in an age when there were no instruments for conducting such experiments, the Qur’an stated 1400 years ago:
“It simply came to our notice then. There is a barrier between them, which they do not overcome. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? Pearls and corals are produced from both seas. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? And to Him belong the ships that sail in the sea. So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?” (Surah Ar-Rahman:19-25)
Not only him; many naval experts have not, however, been able to unlock this secret. Over 100 maritime stations were established and evaluated by satellite in 1942. What created the barrier at both oceans confluence? The lights were tested there, the air checked and the ground inspected, and no obstacle or curtain was detected. Here is seen a light, thick water color. Unable with the naked sight to perceive it. Even scientists photograph the subject or additional tests by the mechanism of perception from a distance from the Earth satellite center. The Mediterranean sea waters are dark blue, the Atlantic sea waters are pale blue, the hilly and brown Gibraltar cell. In terms of density and salinity, the waters of the Mediterranean Sea are far greater than those of the Atlantic. More interestingly, the waters of the Mediterranean Sea entered the Atlantic by the Gibraltar cell or the seafloor surface for hundreds of kilometers. The above mentioned features and colors have not changed, even after reaching a depth of 1000,000 meters. Although strong waves, powerful currents and rough waves exist between both, they do not mix and cannot cross. Since the two have a screen. As the Holy Quran says in the aforementioned verse. Many experts discovered its miracle in the above verses of the Quran by deciphering the riddle of the marvellous creation of the sea. Some of them have accepted true Islam in this way, as it is known from many sources that French ooceanographer Costa has also been converted to Islam.

The Quran on the Origin of the Universe

The study of contemporary cosmology, theory and observation, shows plainly that the world at some point was little more than a ‘smoke’ cloud (i.e. an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition). This is a standard modern cosmology principle. This is undisputed. Scientists may now detect the formation of new stars out of these “smoke” remains. As was the whole cosmos, the dazzling stars we see in the night were in the “smoke” stuff. In the Quran, God says in the Quran:
“Then He turned to the heaven when it was smoke.” (Quran, 41:11)
Because the earth and the heavens above (the sun, the moon, stars, planets, galaxies, etc.) have been formed from this same ‘smoke,’ we conclude that the earth and the heavens were one connected entity. Then out of this homogeneous ‘smoke,’ they formed and separated from each other. God has said in the Quran:
As the earth and the heavens above were produced from this same ‘smoke’ (sun, moon, stars, planets, galaxy, etc.), we deduce that Earth and heaven were a connected entity. Then they developed and split from one other from this homogenous “smoke.” In the Quran, God said:
“Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and the earth were one connected entity, then We separated them?.” (Quran, 21:30)
One of the internationally famous geologists is Dr. Alfred Kroner. He is Professor of Geology of the University of Johannes Gutenberg, Mainz, Germany, Chairman of the Institute of Geology of Geoscience. He remarked, “Thinking where Muhammad came from.” I think it is almost difficult for him to know something like the universe’s common origin, because scientists recently figured out, with highly complex and advanced technical ways, that this is the case in the past few years.” He remarked further, “I assume that anyone who didn’t know anything about nuclear physics 1400 years ago couldn’t find out, from his own thoughts for example, that the earth and the skies were the same.”

Nature of Heavenly Bodies

The Stars
The word ‘star’ appears thirteen times in the Quran (najm, plural nujum); it comes from a root meaning to appear, to come into sight. The word designates a visible heavenly body without saying of what kind, i.e. either generator of light or mere reflector of light received.
The term ‘star’ appears in the Quran thirteen times, and originates from the root meaning to appear, to be seen. The term refers to a visible celestial organ without mentioning what kind of light is received, i.e. either light generator or the plain reflector. A qualifying sentence is used like in the following sura to indicate that the item so designated is a star:
To make it clear that the object so designated is a star, a qualifying phrase is added as in the following sura:
“By the sky and the Night-Visitor, who will tell thee what the Night-Visitor is, the Star of piercing brightness.” (Surah 86:1-3)
In Surah 6: 97, Allah says:
“It is He Who make the Stars (as beacons) for you, that ye may guide yourselves, with their help, through the dark spaces of land and sea: We detail Our Signs for people who know.”
The Qur’an speaks of the guiding value of the dark stars. The scientists also noted that polar stars are widely employed in heavenly navigation. While the positions of other stars fluctuate over the night, the location of stars in the sky does not alter. It is hence a reliable northward indicator. In Surah 16: 12, Allah also says:
“He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the Sun and the Moon; and the Stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise.”
The Planets
A good definition of the meaning of the word kaukab in the Quran Seems to have been given in a very famous verse. The eminently spiritual nature of its deeper meaning stands forth, and is moreover the subject of much debate among experts in exegesis. It is nevertheless of great interest to offer an account of the comparison it contains on the subject of the word that would seem to designate a ‘planet’.
“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth; the example of His light is like a niche in which is a lamp; the lamp is in a glass; the glass is as if it were a star shining like a pearl, kindled by the blessed olive tree, neither of the east nor of the west – it is close that the oil itself get ablaze although the fire does not touch it; light upon light; Allah guides towards His light whomever He wills; and Allah illustrates examples for mankind; and Allah knows everything.” (Surah 24:35)
In one verse however, when seen in the light of modern science, it would seem very much that these can only be the heavenly bodies that we know to be planets. In surah 37, verse 6, we see the following: “We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets.”
Celestial Organization
The information the Quran provides on this subject mainly deals with the solar system. References are however made to phenomena that go beyond the solar system itself: they have been discovered in recent times. There are two very important verses on the orbits of the Sun and Moon:
“(God is) the One Who created the night, the day, the sun and the moon. Each one is travelling in an orbit with its own motion.” (Surah 21:33)
“The sun must not catch up the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. Each one is travelling in an orbit with its own motion.” (Surah 36: 40)
The Sequence of Day and Night
“(God) covers the day with the night which is in haste to follow it.” (Al Quran)
“And a sign for them (human beings) is the night. We strip it of the day and they are in darkness.” (Surah 36:37)
“Hast thou not seen how God merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night.” (Surah 31:29)

Islamic Fintech Speeds Up

According to a new report, the global Islamic FinTech market will reach $128 billion in transaction volume by 2025, up 161 percent from 2020. Saudi Arabia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Indonesia were named as the sector’s leading markets in the 2021 Global Islamic Fintech (GIF) Report, published by Dinar Standard and Elips. Saudi Arabia is currently one of the best-performing Islamic FinTech markets, a position that the GIF Report expects it to maintain in the medium term. Its current value is estimated to be $17.8 billion, but it has the potential to grow to $47.5 billion in just four years. The developments in OIC countries where large target markets exist are particularly encouraging. The number of FinTech’s identified has more than doubled since it was first identified three years ago, demonstrating the sector’s rapid expansion, which is expected to continue at a rapid rate.
Actually, UAE and Malaysia are treated as industry leaders, but Bahrain, Iran, and Indonesia are still ‘mature.’ There will be rapid expansion of Islamic finance in Indonesia in the year 2020. Bank Syariah, Bank Mandiri, and Bank Syar InMeda completed their three-way merger on February 1, 2021. Bursa Malaysia is in the process of forming partnerships with financial technology companies to increase its flexibility and its efficiency. Simultaneously, new technologies will expand financing options and make asset management easier for Sharia-compliant businesses.
In both Islamic and non-Islamic nations Sharia-compliant FinTech’s have emerged, promising to win over millions of young Muslims and to provide financial services to under-banked people. Islamic Fintech is increasingly important against the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic. For Islamic Finance, the application of FinTech covers conventional aspects and certain special aspects, such as the advisory of Shariah, ethical screening and structuring of partnership products that are solely compliant with Shar’ah. Crypto-currencies are the most innovative and disruptive FinTech application in the Islamic financial services industry, which is gradually gaining traction and generating a series of Shar‘ah debates and regulatory unclarity. Participants in various jurisdictions, particularly in the Middle East, North African and Asian regions, are increasingly accepting the Platform.
The use of the online platform for Murabah and related transactions increased by 100 percent between 2009 and 2014. (MIFC 2016). The Dubai Multi Commodities Center Murabah Trading Platform (CMTP) was fully operational in the United Arab Emirates in 2013. The CMTP uses the tradable guarantee model, so that ownership and possession can be transferred online. By transferring ownership and holding through the online platform, CMTP uses the trading warranty model. The CMTP is a fully electronic commodities platform for Murabahah transactions, similar to BSAS, that is compliant with Shariah. Crowdfunding platforms are increasingly being used to finance Shariah-compliant projects, particularly for SMEs, housing, and agricultural finance, in conjunction with this application of FinTech to the Islamic capital market.
The concept of investing in accordance with personal or religious principles is clearly gaining traction. Wahed, a FinTech investment platform, raised $25 million in funding in June 2020. This money was raised to help customers get Halal-approved financial products and services. It will be interesting to see what other FinTech niches emerge as Islamic FinTech gains traction. The new ecosystem includes Islamic wealth managers like Wahed and Islamic first-time banks, including Niyah in the United Kingdom and Insha in Germany. “Slowly” Capital has become a growing Islamic Fintech ecosystem. Europe’s Shariah Finance start-ups have raised millions of pounds in the last five years, and Insha wants to close this quarter with a total of ~10 M€.
In conjunction with a range of COVID-19 mitigation policies: Saudi Arabia has recently released its digital payment guidelines following the urgent establishment of new Islamic financing facilities in support of its MSME industry, for its debt based crowdfunding regulations, and Bank Negara Malaysia, for its virtual banks, issued its long-awaited draft framework. Public-private partnerships are forming in Muslim markets such as Malaysia. It is also learned that with the IsDB the IAP explores the crowdfunding opportunities for investment. Multilateral institutions, governments and Islamic financial institutions have mobilized social finance solutions compliant with Shariah through FinTech to support communities hit by the virus quickly.
